looking to help out a student who is staying over the summer but needs a cheap place to stay. I live downtown and am willing to share my place for around 300 a month over summer.

I have completed AS levels and scored 4 A grades in 4 subjects. I am worried because I am 17 years of age and admission to university, although not determined by age, can be altered if the visa authorities do not allow me a visa. 18 years of age is required in order to get a visa. We can do it otherwise if we have a custodian in Edmonton. I do not have any custodians or relatives unless the university allows one of its personnel to be a custodian. Can anybody suggest me a solution to the problem because i am really concerned about my admission. I am tensed.Glad if you can help me

I have been accepted into the master of petroleum engineering beginning on September 2009 ,for visa complications ,I requested to defer my September admission until January 2010 ,but I haven’t received a answer yet, do you think that the department of civil engineering will accept my deferral request?

You may rewrite the exam as long as your gpa, including that course is above 2.0 and that the exam was worth more than 40 % of your final mark. Can i work if while i'm studing in Alberta University, and if i will failed from one class will i suspended from university ?

yes, but if you are an international student u have to apply for a work permit (it gives you the right to work 20Hrs/week as max)

Is it the studying? Is it meeting new people? Something else?
