Moving to another country can seem daunting. Moving to another country and having to attend classes, find new friends, and sometimes a job can be, well, difficult. At the University of Alberta though the International Center can help. With its multitude of workshops on anything from cooking classes to English Conversation groups to how to find a job in Canada, to the endless events they host, the whole team at the International Center is here to help students get settled into UAlberta life. Currently they are just gearing up for their annual International Week event coming up in February, whoes theme this year is Living Democracy: Citizen Power in a Global Age. The space itself, which offers a kitchen, computers, printers and plenty of space to study makes International Students feel at home. Check out some of our pictures of the space!
